The primary focus of this project will be the migration of a legacy application to a modern technology stack .\nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the full development stack, including .NET, PostgreSQL, and Angular , and be comfortable working within an established development environment and following existing architecture, coding standards, and development guidelines.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and contributing to a significant application modernization effort from migration through completion.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nContribute to the migration and modernization of a legacy application into a modern technology environment.\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET, Angular, and PostgreSQL .\nWork across both front-end and back-end components of the application.\nCollaborate with other developers, technical stakeholders, and project leadership throughout the migration process.\nAnalyze existing legacy functionality and translate business and technical requirements into modern solutions.\nDevelop clean, maintainable, and scalable code in accordance with established development standards.\nFollow existing application architecture, coding standards, development processes, and technology guidelines.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues throughout development and migration.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to overall code quality.\nClearly communicate technical challenges, project status, dependencies, and potential risks.\nDocument technical work and contribute to knowledge transfer as needed.\nWork independently while remaining highly engaged and communicative with the broader project team.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n5–7+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong experience with .NET / C# development.\nStrong hands-on experience with Angular .\nStrong experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.\nDemonstrated experience developing full-stack applications .\nExperience working with and modernizing or migrating legacy applications .\nAbility to work effectively within an existing technology stack and established coding standards.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do. ®\n\nRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
