This onsite position can be based out of Rome, NY or Catonsville, MD and requires an active Top Secret clearance. This position will provide direct support to engineering platforms and microservices used to develop critical applications leveraged across multiple DoD customers.\nWhat You'll Do:\nDevelop infrastructure, task automation, provision managed services, and leverage Python, Ansible, and Terraform programming languages.\nInstall, configure, and provide performance support for Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud metrics collection tools.\nManage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing GitLab.\nManage commercial cloud computing platforms (Azure and AWS).\nCommunicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.\nCollaborate with other software and test teams to integrate capabilities.\nStay abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity threats and offensive capabilities and contribute to internal research and development efforts.\nEducation/Experience/Skillset Required:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field and 5 years’ experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) experience.\nStrong Git skills for version control (e.g., merge requests, pull requests, pushes), and a solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and the secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDL).\nProficient in Python with a deep understanding of web services.\nDeploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters and custom manifests.\nExperience with:\nConfiguring and managing Linux operating systems\nExperience with virtualization platforms (e.g., KVM, ProxMox, VSphere)\nExperience with secure software development practices\nAbility to understand and describe highly technical software systems\nKnowledge of DoD environment, systems, and applications\nInvestigating and resolving technical issues\nAutomated infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, and GitLab CI\nDesigning and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant solutions using Azure services including Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Container Apps, Blob Storage, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.\nClearance Required: Active Top Secret\nTravel: Up to 10%\nAA / Disability / Veteran\n\nUS Salary Range: $101,655 - $141,000\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience.
