This contract opportunity calls for a compassionate professional ready to adapt in a fast-paced environment, using expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care.Key Qualifications:Current, unrestricted RN licenseMinimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) unitBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferredProficient in electronic medical records and documentationStrong assessment, clinical, and communication skillsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as assignedAbility to adapt to new settings and follow facility protocols Primary Responsibilities:Perform thorough and ongoing patient assessments, updating care plans based on clinical judgement and patient responseAdminister medications and IV fluids, monitor vital signs, and provide detailed documentation in patient recordsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate patient care strategiesEducate patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing care needsRespond promptly to changes in patient conditions, intervening appropriatelyAdhere to infection control, safety standards, and hospital policiesProvide emotional support and act as an advocate for patients during hospital stays
