Join our team, and together we will make a difference and change the world.\n\nJob Description:\nJob Description\n\nCDM Smith is seeking an accomplished Senior Program Manager to lead complex programs, align multidisciplinary teams, and deliver successful outcomes for our clients.\n\nThis position is based in Louisiana, and candidates must be willing to relocate.\n\nThe Senior Program Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight throughout program delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. This role serves as a key leader in coordinating project managers, technical teams, clients, and external stakeholders to drive successful program outcomes.\n\nThe Senior Program Manager will also support business development and client pursuits, identify opportunities to enhance client value, mentor staff, and contribute to program management best practices across the firm.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead complex programs and multidisciplinary teams.\nManage program scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.\nBuild and maintain trusted client relationships.\nSupport business development, proposals, and client pursuits.\nResolve complex challenges and drive effective decision-making.\nMentor and develop staff.\nPromote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nParticipate in professional associations, conferences, and Communities of Practice.\nPerform other duties as required.\nSkills & Abilities:\nExpert knowledge of corporate governance practices, organization design principles, accounting principles, finance, supply chain management, and organization management.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nAbility to understand highly complex technical, professional and business materials.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree.\n15 years of related experience.\nDomestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.\nEquivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nCandidates with extensive experience leading large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary engineering programs are strongly preferred.\n\nAmount of Travel Required: 10% or less Driving Requirements : An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
