Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.\r\nWhat does it take to be successful in this role?\r\nStrong knowledge and excellent proficiency in methodologies such as Agile, Scrum\r\nAbility to converse fluently with technical teams and make informed decisions about technology\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, updates, and feedback to various stakeholders\r\nExcellent analytical skills to interpret data, track program performance, and make data-driven decisions\r\nAbility to think critically and solve problems creatively\r\nAbility to adapt to changing circumstances and pivot strategies as needed\r\nExtensive experience in program management and a deep understanding of technology landscapes\r\nEducation & Experience Required\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field\r\n8+ years of project management, program management, Operations/IT Management, or work-related experience\r\nOr an equivalent combination of education and experience\r\nExperience Preferred\r\nLeave, Absence & Disability Insurance domain experience\r\nMulesoft, Salesforce and SQL experience\r\nJira and Confluence Management, cloud system delivery experience\r\nPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities\r\nDefining the scope, objectives, and deliverables for each program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals\r\nEstablishing effective communication with stakeholders on program status, managing expectations, and resolving issues\r\nIdentifying and allocating resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness\r\nIdentifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate those and continuous monitoring and adjustment of plans as needed\r\nImplementing performance metrics and KPIs to track program progress and reporting on these metrics to stakeholders and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure program success\r\nEnsuring that all projects within the program meet the required policies and standards to maintain high quality and performance\r\nManaging the impact of changes on the program and ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly and effectively\r\nPerforms other duties as required\r\nTotal Rewards\r\nThe salary range for this job is $140,000 - $190,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.\r\nAt Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.\r\nIn addition to the base salary, we offer an array of benefits to meet your needs including medical, dental, and vision coverage, prescription drug coverage, health care flexible spending, dependent care flexible spending, Aflac supplemental policies (Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity offered at no costs to employee), 401(k) plans, annual bonuses, and an opportunity to purchase company stock.
