This position leads facilities employees, coordinates vendors, manages preventive maintenance and repair work, supports inspections, and responds to urgent building needs across multiple Tucson area locations.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\nDirectly supervise maintenance employees and the Properties Foreman and provide overall leadership and accountability for maintenance, custodial, and landscaping operations.\nPlan preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs for heating and cooling, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, locks, fire and life safety systems, grounds, and other facility assets.\nPrioritize work orders and communicate clearly with site leaders about timelines, disruptions, and completed work.\nInspect facilities, identify risks, and coordinate timely correction of safety, accessibility, security, and maintenance concerns.\nObtain estimates, schedule vendors and contractors, verify completed work, and review invoices within assigned authority.\nMaintain inspection, maintenance, warranty, permit, inventory, key, and project records.\nSupport budgets, capital planning, facility moves, minor renovations, and emergency preparedness.\nRespond to urgent facility issues and participate in after hours response when assigned.\nPerform hands on facility support and maintenance work when needed and within your training and authorization.\n\nWHY JOIN COPE\nYour work will directly support safe, dependable spaces where employees provide behavioral health, integrated health, residential, educational, and community services. The position frequently requires moving items weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with assistance or equipment when appropriate. Reasonable accommodations may be available for qualified individuals with disabilities. Some urgent or after hours response is required.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\n\nMust be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record. An unacceptable driving record includes (but is not limited to) the following:\n\nmore than two [2] moving violations in the last three [3] years or;\nmore than one [1] at-fault accident within the last three [3] years or;\nany major violation (i.e. DUI, Careless/Reckless Driving, Drag Racing, Hit and Run) within the last three [3] years.\n\nOther driving related violations may be considered unacceptable.
