OverviewAdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Radiation Oncologist to join our team, with primary coverage at AdventHealth DeLand and support across all East Florida Division (EFD) locations. Located in the heart of Volusia County, DeLand offers a charming downtown, proximity to beaches, and a vibrant community ideal for both professional and personal life.Position Highlights:Full-time clinical role with no administrative time requiredPrimary site: AdventHealth DeLand; coverage may extend to other EFD locations as neededCall responsibilities are part of a 6–8 week rotation, with call coverage assigned on a weekly basis. Call is limited to after-hours office support—no in-hospital rounding is requiredSupport staff includes experienced radiation therapists, dosimetrists, physicists, and nursesPatient mix includes a broad spectrum of oncology cases, with a strong focus on:Head & neck cancersBreast cancerLung cancerProstate cancerNo brachytherapy procedures performed onsiteCandidate Requirements:Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation OncologyMinimum of 2 years post-training experience preferredNot open to new fellows or residentsEligibility for active Florida medical licenseTeam-oriented with a patient-first mindsetStrong communication skills and ability to build relationships with referring providersPractice Overview:Our group of over 20 radiation oncologists provides services across multiple AdventHealth sites throughout Central Florida.
