This position is responsible for monitoring the quality and consistency of cannabis materials throughout various processing phases, ensuring that all products meet or exceed established quality standards. The role requires meticulous attention to detail in tracking, recording, and reporting inventory data, as well as a strong commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance with health and safety standards. The Processing Technician will also collaborate with other team members to uphold production efficiency, cleanliness, and accurate documentation. As a key part of the production team, this role directly supports the company's goals of producing high-quality, innovative products while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nMonitor cannabis material during processing phases.\nMaintain electronic and paper logs for accurate weighing, tracking, and reporting of all inventory.\nInput data and manage the flow of production.\nClean production areas to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with local and state health regulations.\nConduct visual inspections to ensure the product meets or exceeds quality standards.\nFollow appropriate quality control measures and in-process checks.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nProficiency in computer programs such as MS Office and METRC, among other systems.\nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations for proper batch formulation.\nKeen attention to detail.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.\nEducation and Experience:\nMust be at least 21 years old.\n1+ years of manufacturing experience with a focus on inventory tracking, product safety, consumer safety, and maintaining high product quality.\nProfessional kitchen or baking experience is preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nRespiratory Fit Test\nCompletion of a two-part evaluation for respiratory clearance:\nPart 1: A written health questionnaire to evaluate your medical history and eligibility for respirator use.\nPart 2: A respiratory fit test to ensure proper fit and functionality of the equipment required for this position.\nPlease note that both parts of this evaluation must be successfully completed to qualify for this position. Failure to meet the requirements of either part will disqualify you from this role. However, you may still be considered for other positions within the company.\nComfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and other manufacturing conditions.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.\nMust be physically capable of sitting or standing for long periods or entire shifts.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.\nWork Schedule (Non-Exempt):\nThis position is scheduled on a full-time basis.
