Position: Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) – Behavioral Health (CPEP / Inpatient / Outpatient)Location: New York, NY 10037Start Date: 06/15/2026Hours per Week: 37.5Hours per Day: 7.5Schedule: 5 days per weekPay Rate: $92 – $98 per hourWe are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee Behavioral Health services across CPEP, Inpatient, and Outpatient units in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings and a proven ability to manage clinical operations and nursing teams.Key Responsibilities: • Plan, develop, and implement programs to improve patient care and employee performance • Monitor unit performance and collaborate with Nurse Managers to ensure quality standards • Identify performance gaps and support corrective action processes as needed • Develop and maintain systems for tracking medication errors and counseling interventions • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and high-quality patient care across all unitsRequirements: • Active RN License (New York State required) • Primary Source Verification of NYS RN License & Registration (NYSED) • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program – Required • Master’s Degree in Nursing – Preferred • BLS Certification – Required • Minimum 7 years of nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role. • Behavioral Health or psychiatric nursing experience strongly preferredThis is a leadership opportunity for a highly skilled nursing professional focused on behavioral health program development, quality improvement, and team leadership.Pride Health offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k) retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
