Construction Project ManagerDepartment: Founders Row BuildingEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: PhiladelphiaDescriptionMetropolitan Companies is looking for a Project Manager to join our team!The Project Manager will oversee our homebuilding projects, ensuring the highest quality-built homes and on-time completion throughout Philadelphia County as part of our new Founders Row Building Group division. If you are flexible, motivated and want to join a growing company, then this is the role for you!Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and budget limitations.Supervise daily construction operations, including management of labor, equipment, and materials.Track construction progress, identify and resolve issues promptly to maintain the project schedule.Work closely with Sr. management, engineers, and contractors to facilitate effective communication and resolve on-site conflicts or discrepancies.Ensure all construction work aligns with design specifications and local building codes.Review construction plans to accurately interpret and execute the intended designs.Order building materials and manage community assets and site budgetsPerform regular site safety inspectionsConduct quality control inspectionsSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseCompetencies:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentQualifications:3-5+ years of professional construction project management experience.Experience with building in the city of Philadelphia.
