These projects include, but are not limited to, heavy lift and material handling operations, hydraulic winch or cylinder based systems, and pneumatic load handling systems.\nIn addition to strong mechanical aptitude, the successful candidate will be trained in rigging and certified weight measurement systems (load cells), which are core competencies routinely applied in the heavy lift industry. Work is performed at company facilities, as well as at remote onshore and offshore client locations.\nResponsibilities & Accountabilities\nParticipate in JSEA, permit-to-work systems, SIMOPS, and safety briefings\nPerform assigned work in accordance with superintendent direction, site requirements, and approved procedures, manuals, and OEM guidelines\nRead and interpret mechanical drawings and hydraulic schematics\nInspect, maintain, repair, and document mechanical and hydraulic equipment, including winches, cylinders, hydraulic power units, control panels, and air compressors\nSafely install, relocate, and remove equipment using cranes, forklifts, and man lifts in accordance with approved lift plans and scope of work\nPerform rigging activities, spool winch wire, and pour spelter sockets\nMaintain a clean, organized work area and comply with company quality and safety management systems, including stop work authority\nWork effectively with supervisors and project teams at shop, yard, and onshore/offshore project locations\nRequired Certifications\n(currently held or able to obtain)\nBOSIET (water survival) certification\nOGUK/UKOOA medical certificate\nTWIC\nSafeGulf/RigPass certification\nFall protection user/rescue certification\nCPR/first aid certification\nEquipment operator certification\nAbout Versabar\nVersabar is a globally recognized leader and pioneer in the development and application of heavy lift solutions, primarily serving the offshore oil and gas industry.
