This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial reporting, improving internal controls, and building processes that support continued growth. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional partners on both day-to-day operations and longer-term initiatives.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nLead daily accounting activities across corporate and lending-related functions while mentoring a small team and promoting accountability and collaboration.\nDirect the monthly close cycle to ensure financial results are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.\nEnhance accounting workflows and strengthen compliance with applicable accounting standards, including matters involving lending activity, consolidations, investments, and structured transactions.\nOversee the evaluation, selection, and rollout of upgraded accounting systems to improve the scalability and effectiveness of the finance organization.\nCoordinate annual audits and tax-related reporting, acting as the primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors.\nCollaborate with FP& A and capital markets stakeholders on forecasts, funding activity, and business planning efforts.\nPerform technical accounting analysis for complex transactions and prepare clear documentation to support accounting conclusions.\nSupport the development of a strong control environment by identifying risks and implementing process improvements across finance operations.\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.\nCPA or a comparable accounting credential is required.\n7–10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including at least 3 years focused on loan accounting.\n3 or more years of experience leading and developing accounting teams.\nHands-on experience with ERP platforms and finance technology tools used for close management, automation, and process improvement.\nStrong knowledge of month-end close, general ledger activity, financial reporting, and audit support.\nAbility to balance strategic leadership with detailed execution in a fast-moving environment.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.\nRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
