Responsible for processing and moving merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety standards.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\n\nReceive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.\nMatch item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.\nProcess inbound shipments, outbound orders, store returns, warranty merchandise, acquisitions inventory, and vendor return according to O’Reilly policy.\nOperate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other warehouse technology as required.\nProperly store and retrieve merchandise from floor locations, shelving, racking systems, and reserve storage areas.\nLoad and unload trailers, containers, route trucks, and freight shipments while ensuring merchandise is secured and protected from damage.\nMaintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution procedures.\nRebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or inventory placement as needed.\nProcess warranty merchandise, batteries, recalls, non-stock items, unsaleable merchandise, and vendor return goods according to O’Reilly policy.\nFollow established procedures for hazardous material handling and disposal in accordance with O’Reilly safety standards and regulatory requirements.\nMaintain productivity and accuracy standards while completing assigned warehouse tasks and operational workflows.\nKeep work areas organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.\nIdentify unsafe conditions or practices and report concerns to leadership promptly.\nMaintain compliance with O’Reilly policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.\nPerform all other duties as assigned.\n\nSKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\n\nRequired:\nAbility to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.\nFollows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.\nMaintain safe work environment, including but not limited to safely lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.\nWillingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.\n\nDesired:\nExperience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.\nPrior experience handling automotive parts or related merchandise.\nExperience operating warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or voice-picking equipment.\nExperience working within productivity, quality, or performance-driven environments.\nProficiency in one or more additional languages.\n\nO’Reilly Auto Parts has a proven track record of growth and stability.
