You will bridge the gap between our real-time data pipelines and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.\nDevelop and maintain responsive front-end applications and the robust backend APIs that support them.\nImplement real-time data streaming features to visualize dynamic data on maps and dashboards.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Backend, Data Science, and DevOps teams to integrate AI models into the user experience.\nParticipate in the full development lifecycle—from coding and code reviews to deployment and feature monitoring.\nWrite clean, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code across the entire stack.\nMonitor application performance, troubleshoot bugs, and assist in root cause analysis for production issues.\nWhat You Need\nBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).\n2–4 years of professional software engineering experience across the full stack.\nSolid proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, TypeScript) and backend languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Rust, Go).\nExperience handling real-time data on the frontend (e.g., WebSockets, SSE) and managing application state.\nGood understanding of API design (REST/GraphQL), relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and caching layers (e.g., Redis).\nFamiliarity with containerization (Docker) and modern development workflows (Git).\nAble to leverage AI coding assistants to increase velocity while fully understanding and taking ownership of all code you commit.\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.\nBonus Qualifications\nExperience with web-based mapping and visualization libraries (e.g., Mapbox, MapLibre).\nExperience with real-time audio consumption workflows, including Opus decoding, browser audio rendering APIs, and managing multi-channel live audio streams via LiveKit/WebRTC.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and basic Kubernetes concepts.\nExposure to event-driven architectures or streaming systems.\nA deep interest or background in aerospace, aviation, or autonomous systems.\nPlease note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications\nAt Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
