Our providers engage with patients early and our care navigators guide patients through the entire maternal episode of care, offering 24x7 support via our secure virtual platform.\nPosition Overview:\nA Junior Full Stack Engineer at our early Series A startup helps scale a growing product used by real customers. This role blends hands-on development with learning best practices for reliability, performance, and maintainability, while working closely with senior engineers, product, and design.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild and maintain backend and GraphQL APIs using Node.js\nDevelop and maintain web and mobile features with React.js and React Native\nWork directly with product and design to ship features quickly\nDebug issues across the stack and improve performance\nWrite clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews\nHelp deploy and monitor applications in production\nWork with databases (SQL or NoSQL) to read and write data\nRequired Skills:\nSolid foundation in JavaScript / TypeScript\nExperience with Node.js and modern frontend frameworks\nComfortable working across frontend and backend\nFamiliarity with REST/SOAP/GraphQL and databases\nEager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity\nGit version control basics & Basic CI/CD knowledge\nAbout you:\nAligned with SimpliFed’s mission.\nHankering to put the relationships back in medicine\nA posture towards execution - a true operator willing to both develop the strategy and execute it.\nAbility to work remotely and communicate asynchronously via slack and email, along with thriving in virtual meetings.\nDoes not suffer in silence: willingness to give it a shot but then reach out for help as needed and not waiting too long.\nLeans into items they are uncomfortable with, not avoid it.\nDefers to safe and secure security protocols always to protect SimpliFed’s patients and providers.\nHigh personal integrity to always do the right thing for the families that we are honored to serve.\nRespect and high tolerance for bureaucracy, along with an optimistic perspective on how to operate within the bureaucratic “rules” and the healthcare regulatory environment.\nAbility to work in a fast paced, team environment.\nHave a valid Drivers License and REAL ID\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis\nBase salary: $95,000\nSimpliFed is an equal opportunity employer.
