This role is responsible for HRIS data entry and data maintenance, workflow processing, reporting, compliance-related recordkeeping, onboarding and offboarding support, and general HR administrative coordination. The Human Resources Coordinator also provides first-level support to employees and managers on routine HR, HRIS, and employment-related questions while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure the accurate, timely, and confidential handling of HR information and processes.\nAs a member of our HR support team working in partnership with teams in the field, a service mindset and a focus on solutions are essential to success in this role.\nResponsibilities:\n\nMaintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policy and applicable laws\nProcess personnel transactions in the HRIS, including new hires, transfers, status changes, and separations\nMonitor and process HRIS workflows, following up as needed to ensure timely completion and data accuracy\nMaintain electronic personnel files and support compliance-related documentation, recordkeeping, and tracking requirements\nPerform routine audits of HRIS and employee data and assist in identifying, researching, and correcting discrepancies to maintain data integrity\nProvide first-level support to employees and managers on HRIS navigation, workflows, and basic system functionality\nEscalate complex system, workflow, or data issues and partner with HRIS Analyst, Payroll, IT, or vendors as needed for resolution\nAssist with HRIS user access, permissions, and security administration in accordance with company policy and confidentiality requirements\nFacilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including completion of assigned HRIS and administrative tasks\nTrack and support compliance-related processes, including I-9 administration and other required employment documentation\nManage a shared human resources email inbox\nProvide general administrative support to the HR department, including handling correspondence, organizing files, and supporting department initiatives and projects\nServe as a backup to other HR functional areas and assist with key deliverables and day-to-day team activities\nProvide timely and accurate responses to employees and managers regarding routine HR, HRIS, and employment-related questions, escalating more complex matters as appropriate\nSupport HR coordinator-style administrative duties, including completing state benefits and pay verification forms and assisting with routine administrative requests\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\n \nQualifications:\n\nStrong customer service skills and the ability to respond professionally and effectively to employees, managers, and internal stakeholders\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and maintain effective working relationships\nSound judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality\nAbility to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and follow through in a timely and accurate manner\nAbility to identify issues, communicate status clearly, and escalate concerns appropriately\nStrong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to data accuracy\n\nEducation and Experience:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n2-5 years of administrative experience in HR, human resources support, or HR coordination preferred.\nExperience working with HR systems, databases, or other business systems preferred\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint\nDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately\nStrong organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment\nDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and data accuracy
