The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in configuration management, coupled with a deep understanding of the DoD/USMC procedures and requirements, ensuring excellence in managing and maintaining complex systems.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, implement, and maintain configuration management processes and procedures.\nEnsure all configuration management activities are conducted in accordance with DoD/USMC standards and requirements.\nMaintain configuration management databases and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.\nCoordinate with various departments to manage configuration changes, ensuring all modifications are properly documented and communicated.\nPerform audits and reviews to ensure compliance with established configuration management policies and standards.\nProvide training and support to staff on configuration management procedures and best practices.\nWork closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure configuration management activities align with project goals and timelines.\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements:\n\nBachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration) preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in configuration management.\nStrong Attention to Detail\nIntermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Sharepoint, Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts\nStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team\nCertification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII, ITIL) is a plus.\nExperience with DoD (Department of Defense) configuration management standards and protocols.\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and tools.\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds\nMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time\nMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically\nSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
