Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip, board, and system design.\nWe are seeking a passionate and highly skilled software engineer to join the QuestaSim (Simulation) R&D team at Siemens EDA.\nIn this role, you will:\nDevelop cutting-edge algorithms and software design/architecture for industry-leading simulation tools.\nContribute to the development and enhancement of production-quality components, algorithms, and engines while supporting and improving existing codebases.\nSolve complex software problems in collaboration with a senior group of engineers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nApply your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality software solutions.\nStay self-motivated, disciplined, and focused on achieving personal and team goals.\nShould have:\nExperience with conceptualizing, defining, architecting, and implementation of an open-ended problem scope or new ideas.\nStrong proficiency in C/C++, data structures, and algorithms.\nExpertise in Compiler Concepts and Optimizations\nExperience working on UNIX and/or LINUX platforms.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nProven ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver results.\nGood to have\nBasic knowledge of Digital Electronics and concepts related to System Verilog, Verilog, and VHDL.\nFamiliarity with parallel algorithms and job distribution techniques.\nExposure to Simulation or Formal-based Verification methodologies.\nEducation\nA Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.\nThis position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
