Work with a dynamic team of developers and DevOps engineers to automatic cyber network defenses.\nThe position can work hybrid remotely but must be located in close proximity to the Ft. Meade, MD or Pensacola, FL area.\nResponsibilities\nDesigns, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. The project scope is to define tools and processes and capabilities to provide the customer detailed awareness of cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats on DoD networks. This will include cloud-based solutions, big data analytics and real-time monitoring. Work in a devops environment to maintain existing capabilities and support migration to and AWS cloud environment.\nMinimum Qualifications\n2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field;\n0 years experience with Masters in related field; or\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.\nExperience in Java and C++\nExperience with Full Stack web development.\nExperience with software code repositories.\nClearance: An active Secret level security clearance required\nPreferred Requirements\nDoD 8570 IAT Level I approved certification is highly desired\nKnowledge of containerization and micro-services technologies and tools.\nFamiliarity with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS) and DevSecOps.\nAbility to work efficiently and accurately within a cross-functional team context to deliver cyber analytics and capabilities to a diverse set of mission stakeholders.\nAbility to take broad direction from leadership and then work either independently or collaboratively to design, develop, test and deliver cyber analytic solutions\nExperience Developing and Supporting Analytic Services.\nKnowledge of Scrum and SAFe Agile and ITIL methodologies.\nPhysical Requirements\nAdequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements Software Engineer family.\nThis opportunity resides with Cyber & Electronic Warfare, a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division.
