Other responsibilities include leading audits across all areas of the organization, providing training for QMS, and working on various quality projects.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nOversee effective implementation of the QMS, including any business accreditations\n\nMaintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business, operation, and customer requirements\n\nConduct the final inspection for all outgoing shipments\n\nOrganize and manage internal and external audits and corrective action reporting, including training and guiding other auditors\n\nCreate daily safety and visual inspection reports to send to HQ\n\nReport on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system\n\nMaintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents\n\nReview, collect, and analyze data on quality procedures to continuously improve plant targets using the 4M process\n\nMaintain and repair laboratory machines as necessary and track spare parts\n\nTrain new line operators and engineers on quality issues\n\nPromote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six‑Sigma, Poka‑Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis\n\nProvide quality information to customer service team\n\nCommunicate with regulatory agencies regarding compliance documentation or validation results\n\nRecommend resolution of identified deviations from established product or process standards\n\nCreate, populate, or maintain databases for tracking validation activities, test results, or validated systems\n\nParticipate in internal or external training programs to maintain knowledge of validation principles, industry trends, or novel technologies\n\nMaintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:\n\nSort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain\n\nRight Location, Right Quantity, Right Container\n\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience\n\nExperience\n\nLaboratory or research experience preferred\n\n1 to 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred\n\nBackground with GD&T preferred\n\nWorking knowledge of measurement and calibration\n\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes\n\nBasic knowledge of electrical engineering\n\nStrong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)\n\nKnowledge of quality systems and Lean manufacturing\n\nKnowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9000\n\nSkills\n\nComfortable working independently and with others\n\nResults-oriented and perseverant\n\nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills\n\nProject and process management skills\n\nStrong attention to detail\n\nTechnically proficient and motivated to continuously improve\n\nMS Office Suite and Minitab\n\nFlexible schedule to address issues at work as they arise and to attend meetings based on overseas schedules\n\nBenefits Overview\n\n100% employer paid Medical, Dental, and Vision premium for you and your family\n\n100% employer-paid disability and life insurance\n\nGenerous Paid Time Off / Holidays\n\nOpportunity to grow in diverse work environment with a global company\n\n401k Retirement savings and planning with generous company match\n\nLG is an Equal Opportunity employer that values the diversity of its workforce.
