Now, you can get your money for whatever you need it for without the loans, without the interest, and without a credit check.Position SummaryAssists in all functional areas of the Nutrition Services department including, but not limited to:staffing, scheduling, training, ordering, food production, meal service, resident documentation,and resident interviews.Principal Duties And Responsibilities Coordinates the assignments of the Nutrition Services staff, providing leadership toensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Provides coverage for shifts when necessary due to employee absence. Prepares or directs the preparation of food. Supervises or assists in cleaning procedures to ensure safety and sanitary conditionsare maintained. Effectively communicates policies, expected outcomes, efficient work routines, and workprocedures to the Nutrition Services staff. Schedules, orients and trains Nutrition Services employees. Interviews residents and documents in resident’s medical record. Other duties as assigned.Management Responsibilities In the absence of the Director, shall have administrative authority over and responsibilityfor the functions and activities of the department.Catholic Care Center – Kitchen Manager Page 2 Monitors staff compliance with infection control, personal protection equipment, bloodborne pathogens, hazardous material handling and fire safety. Participates in the employee evaluation process by providing information on theperformance of staff.Education And/Or Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. One To Two Years’ Food Preparation Experience Required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Proficient culinary skills. Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations. Must possess strong collaborative, interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking, verbaland written communication skills, and a desire to create a high-performance, effectiveteam that can produce consistent, demonstrated results. Must demonstrate on an ongoing basis the ability to develop and maintain good workingrelationships with co-workers and ministry leadership. Competencies needed for this position include strong interpersonal relationship skills,detail oriented, work in collaboration with others, demonstrate a high degree of integrityand personal commitment, possess strong analytical skills, be able to workindependently and manage multiple deliverables at the same time. Ability to function in a matrix environment and demonstrate a passion to succeed beself-motivated, dependable, committed, and a willingness to see a project through to itsconclusion. Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.Equal Employment Opportunity EmployerCatholic Care Center is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action employer.
