We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Document Control Manager to lead and continuously improve Tarana's document control and product change management processes.\n\nThe Document Control Manager is responsible for the overall administration, governance, and continuous improvement of Tarana's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, Arena Solutions, and the associated document and change control processes. This role serves as the central point of coordination for engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, and supplier teams, ensuring product data integrity throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nThe successful candidate will establish and maintain best-in-class document control practices, ensure timely execution of engineering and manufacturing changes, manage product records and compliance documentation, and help scale Tarana's product data management capabilities in support of rapid growth and new product introductions.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n\nPLM System Administration & Governance\n\nServe as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Tarana's Arena Solutions PLM system.\nDefine, implement, and maintain PLM workflows, business rules, user permissions, training materials, and system configurations.\nDevelop and enforce document control policies, standards, procedures, and work instructions.\nLead initiatives to improve PLM efficiency, automation, reporting, and data quality.\nCoordinate PLM integrations and data synchronization activities with ERP, MES, quality, and other enterprise systems.\nPartner with IT and business stakeholders to identify and implement system enhancements.\n\nDocument Control & Product Data Management\n\nManage all aspects of product documentation, including part masters, bills of material (BOMs), drawings, specifications, test reports, manufacturing instructions, supplier documentation, and quality records.\nEnsure product structures, revisions, and documentation are accurate, complete, and traceable throughout the product lifecycle.\nEstablish and maintain document retention and archival practices in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.\nConduct periodic audits of product data and document repositories to ensure compliance with established standards.\nDrive data governance initiatives to improve product data consistency, accuracy, and completeness.\n\nChange Control Management\n\nOwn and administer Tarana's Engineering Change Request (ECR), Engineering Change Order (ECO), Manufacturing Change Order (MCO), Product Change Notice (PCN), and deviation processes.\nFacilitate cross-functional change review meetings and change control boards (CCB) as required.\nReview change packages for technical accuracy, completeness, appropriate approvals, and compliance with established procedures.\nEnsure timely routing, approval, release, and implementation of product changes.\nMonitor change control metrics and provide reporting on cycle time, workload, and process effectiveness.\nPartner with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Regulatory teams to resolve documentation and change management issues.\n\nSupplier & Compliance Documentation\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for document control activities involving contract manufacturers, suppliers, and strategic partners.\nEnsure completeness and maintenance of supplier documentation including datasheets, declarations, certifications, specifications, and quality records.\nManage product compliance documentation related to:\nRoHS / RoHS2\nChina RoHS\nREACH\nWEEE\nConflict Minerals\nCalifornia Proposition 65\nOther applicable global environmental and regulatory requirements\nSupport internal and external audits by providing controlled documentation and product records.\n\nProcess Improvement & Training\n\nEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for document control and change management processes.\nIdentify process bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nDevelop and deliver user training for Arena Solutions PLM and document/change control procedures.\nCreate job aids, training materials, and process documentation to support user adoption and compliance.\nMentor team members and provide functional leadership for document control activities.\n\nWhat You'll Need:\n\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical Management, or a related field, and equivalent professional experience.\n7+ years of experience in document control, configuration management, product data management, or change control within a manufacturing environment.\n3+ years of experience administering a PLM system, preferably Arena Solutions.\nExperience supporting new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing transfer, and product lifecycle management activities.\nExperience working within a regulated manufacturing or quality environment.\nDemonstrated experience developing and implementing documentation processes, procedures, and governance standards.\nExpert knowledge of PLM systems, preferably Arena Solutions.\nStrong understanding of engineering documentation, product development workflows, BOM structures, and revision control methodologies.\nExperience with ERP systems and integration of PLM and ERP processes.\nKnowledge of configuration management principles and product data governance.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.\nAbility to create process documentation, workflows, metrics, and training materials.\n\nLeadership & Professional Skills\n\nExceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nAbility to influence and collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Executive teams.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive process improvements.\nAbility to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\nCustomer-service mindset with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nArena Solutions Administrator certification or equivalent experience.\nExperience supporting ISO 9001, TL 9000, or similar quality management systems.\nExperience with wireless communications, networking, telecommunications, or electronics manufacturing.\nExperience with contract manufacturing and global supply chain
