Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Shift: Night ShiftDuration: 8 weeks (start date between 05/04/2026 - 05/18/2026; latest start 05/18/2026 - end date 06/27/2026)Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekOvertime: Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier); Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)On-Call: NoPerform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patients of all agesProvide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients with medical, surgical, and traumatic conditionsInitiate and monitor IV access, administer medications, and manage critical dripsAssist with emergency procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertionMonitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and neurologic statusCoordinate with emergency physicians, trauma team, and ancillary staffDocument all care accurately in the EMRRespond to trauma activations and code situationsProvide patient and family education regarding discharge instructions and follow-up careMaintain patient safety and infection control standards in a high-acuity environmentFloat within the main ED as needed Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency experienceLarge facility / high-volume emergency department experienceActive RN license (Georgia or compact)AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications - all requiredLevel 1 trauma center experience - preferredTNCC and/or ENPC - preferredEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of nursingLicensure/Certification:-Active RN license in the State of Georgia or valid eNLC compact multi-state license - requiredAHA BLS (Basic Life Support) - requiredAHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - requiredAHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - requiredTNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - preferredENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - preferredExperience:-Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency experience - requiredLarge facility / high-volume emergency department experience - requiredLevel 1 trauma center experience - preferredPrevious travel experience - preferredSkills:-Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment abilitiesProficiency in adult and pediatric emergency careAbility to work in a high-volume, fast-paced trauma centerExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCalm and effective response to emergency situationsAdditional Information:Candidate Type: Travel OnlyLocation: Atlanta, Georgia (specific facility details provided upon interview)Setting: Main Emergency Care Center - Level 1 Trauma CenterPatient Population: Adult and PediatricStart Date: Must start by 05/18/2026 at the latest (05/04/2026 preferred)Conditional Compliance: Allowed for credentialing proven to be in processUpdated resume with 4+ years of adult and pediatric ED experienceSkills checklist matching specialtyActive Georgia or compact RN licenseAHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS cardsTNCC/ENPC preferred (not required but strongly preferred)Badge-appropriate photoAll demographic information Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
