The position is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop structural engineering and geo/structural engineering skills.\nFalkofske Engineering, Inc. is highly recognized throughout south, mid-west, and eastern United States for its expertise in soil retention design (retaining walls) and slope stability analysis. We are also highly involved in residential foundation and framing (wood) design for a number of home builders, hardscape and site structure design, and commercial foundation and framing design.\nOur goal is the continued growth of the firm.\nApplicant should have the following:\nGood attitude and focused work ethic required.\nGood communication skills are required. The position will require collaboration with other members of the firm and communication with clients.\nSome Autocad experience required.\nProficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nApplicant must indicate that they intend to make consulting structural and/or geo/structural engineering their profession after graduation.\nApplicant must indicate that they intend to pursue a Master’s Degree in structural engineering after graduation.\nApplicant must indicate that they intend to take and pass the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (E.I.T) at time of graduation, or already have obtained E.I.T. certificate.\nApplicant must present a transcript of all classes taken. It will be held in confidence during the selection period and then destroyed or returned.\nApplicant must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
