Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Assembler II to join our team for a full-time day shift position. The Assembler II will be responsible for assembling components or products according to established procedures and specifications. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble components or products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
Prepare and set up machines for operation, including loading materials and configuring machine settings according to specifications.
Perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
Oversee the machine's operation, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently while monitoring for any irregularities or malfunctions.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise.
Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the assembly area.
Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
Complete paperwork and documentation related to the assembly process accurately and on time.
Work closely with other operators, supervisors, and team members to coordinate operations and resolve any production challenges.
Performance Duties:
Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Continuously monitor and evaluate assembly processes for opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
· Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
· Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
· Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
