Moreover, we endeavor to treat our employees fairly.\nOptical Module & Device Integration Manager\nAOI is seeking a Manager of Optical Module & Device Integration. This role will build and lead an engineering team and work with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and reliability teams to improve product performance, support new product introduction, and resolve integration issues.\nCandidates with strength in one or a few relevant technical areas and the ability to lead cross-functional work are encouraged to apply.\nResponsibilities\n\nBuild and lead an integration team supporting optical modules and devices from development through production.\nManage team staffing, workload, and performance, including hiring, setting individual goals, coaching engineers, and conducting performance reviews.\nCoordinate with device, optical, electrical, and packaging engineers to address integration challenges and meet product requirements.\nLead troubleshooting of performance, assembly, yield, and reliability issues using test data and structured problem-solving.\nSupport new product introduction, process transfer, and manufacturing readiness, including assembly and test requirements.\nEstablish project priorities, track improvement activities, and communicate technical progress across teams.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, optics, physics, materials science, or a related field, with relevant industry experience.\nPractical experience in one or more of the following areas: optical devices; optical module or transceiver development; optical alignment and packaging; high-speed electrical or optical testing; manufacturing integration, yield improvement, or reliability.\nAbility to analyze technical problems and collaborate across engineering disciplines.\nExperience leading an engineering team or technical projects, with demonstrated ability to delegate work, provide feedback, and develop team members.
