Join a leading healthcare facility as a CT/PET Technologist specializing in advanced imaging techniques within a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. This contract position offers a focused weekend schedule of three 12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, ideal for professionals seeking concentrated, impactful work hours without overnight requirements.Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging procedures including biopsies, drainage, trauma scans, angiograms, and stroke perfusion studies. Operate GE CT equipment within a dynamic Radiology department, supporting inpatient and outpatient adults as well as occasional pediatric cases. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Cerner. Float across various Radiology areas as required, providing versatile support throughout the hospital. Participate in a thorough orientation process, including hospital and unit-specific training alongside experienced technologists. Qualifications: ARRT certification in CT (ARRT-CT) required; state licensure preferred. BLS certification mandatory. Strong experience with trauma, biopsy drainage, angiograms, and stroke perfusion imaging. Minimum of two years of hands-on CT experience; first-time travelers with 2+ years of experience will be considered. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center setting. Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday. No night or on-call shifts required; voluntary on-call available. Holiday scheduling per hospital policy with some holiday work possible.
