Human Resources OfficeJOB POSTINGGREETER / GATE ATTENDANTOakland Jet CenterPart-Time Position KaiserAir Oakland is advertising an immediate opening for a part-time Greeter/Gate Attendant. Position Summary Under supervision of the Ramp Coordinator and Line Service Manager, the part-time Greeter/Gate Attendant will be scheduled as required (up to 28 hours per week) and have responsibility to control the passage of vehicles and personnel through the main gate. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment while providing excellent customer service. Duties and Responsibilities The Greeter/Gate Attendant shall learn and demonstrate working knowledge of KaiserAir, Port of Oakland, and TSA security procedures and customer service skills and philosophies to ensure clients are warmly greeted and vetted prior to access to the KaiserAir facility. The Greeter/Gate Attendant must be attentive at all times to gate traffic and telephone/radio calls and the surrounding environment. Must greet and welcome clients and passengers as they arrive and depart and ensure they are properly escorted to the terminal or their aircraft. The Greeter/Gate Attendant must communicate clearly with the Ramp Coordinator and Customer Service Representatives to keep them advised of arriving clients, limousines, cabs, shuttle vans, etc. and any out of the ordinary issues that may arise. Interested individuals meeting the qualifications for this position should send a letter of interest and resume to resume@kaiserair.com.      Closing Date: Open Until Filled.  Hourly Rate: $20.43 – $23.00 Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent·        Must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service·        Applicant must have the ability to professionally handle dynamic situations that may occur such as vehicles and/or personnel arriving at the gate without proper authorization   ·        Must have a complete and commanding knowledge of KaiserAir customer service philosophies and principles.Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service·        Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and security background check and pass KaiserAir and Port of Oakland / TSA badge training requirements.
