The position is based out of our Danielson, Connecticut headquarters and is 100% on-site.The Regional Sales Engineer / Specialist will coordinate all aspects of customer management, estimating, pricing, proposal generation, and documentation, for target and existing customers in the assigned region, with the objective of growing total sales and profitability.ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical resource to customers - understanding applications, recommending SPIROL solutions, and supporting design-in efforts.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to deliver accurate, timely solutions.Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and key decision-makers.Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and proposals.Determine pricing, including supply terms and conditions.Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related technical fieldEquivalent technical selling experience consideredExperience in technical sales, application engineering or industrial salesExperience selling into industrial, OEM or manufacturing markets preferredBackground in fasteners, precision components, mechanical systems or engineering products preferredStrong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with CRM systems and consultative sales methodologiesAbility to prioritize multiple functions to meet required deadlinesExcellent communication skills both verbally and writtenWhy SpirolCompetitive Compensation StructureHealth/Dental/Vision/Life InsuranceDisability Insurance401(k) with Company MatchingESOP PensionPet InsurancePaid time offEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramEducation Assistance ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramCareers Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3OEoDZdnXISPIROL an equal opportunity employer.
