Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in consistent preparation and plating of food. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment Support food plating, garnishing, and presentation to ensure visual appeal Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Adhere to dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary requests when necessary Assist with catering events or special functions as required Follow all food safety protocols, including proper knife handling and storage practices Experience Previous experience in dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred Experience in restaurant or food industry settings, particularly in fine dining or catering, is highly desirable Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Familiarity with menu planning, food presentation, and serving procedures Culinary experience including knife skills, meal preparation, and kitchen operations is essential Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is beneficial Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Work Location: In person
