Maintenance Analyst (Robot)
Rounds is partnering with one of the most active robot fleets on Earth, to staff hands-on Maintenance Analyst roles across U.S. college campuses. If you're an early-career engineer who'd rather work on deployed autonomous systems in the field than sit in a lab, read on.Location• Indiana State University — Terre Haute, INWhat you'll do:• Keep a fleet of delivery robots in top mechanical, electrical & software shape• Run diagnostics, repairs, and component swaps; push software updates• Own daily fleet deployment, recovery, and on-site troubleshooting• Be the primary on-site point of contact for campus operations• Track inventory, spare parts, and maintenance reportingWhat we're looking for:• Bachelor's (or final year) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering — or equivalent• Hands-on aptitude with hardware, electronics, or mechanical systems (projects, internships, personal builds all count)• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication• Comfortable working on-site and lifting equipment up to 50 lbs• U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship)Bonus points: robotics, IoT, embedded systems, Linux/networking, or prior field-tech experience.
