BMS Project Manager

Job Title: Engineering Manager, Data Center Controls and Power MonitoringJob DescriptionThe Engineering Manager, Data Center Controls and Power Monitoring is responsible for leading and governing all controls engineering activities across Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and SCADA/PLC systems within hyperscale data center projects. This role ensures full technical ownership, consistency, and execution across a team of engineers supporting mission-critical infrastructure, including electrical power monitoring, building automation, and generator systems.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee multiple engineers across controls projects to ensure high-quality delivery across design, programming, integration, and commissioning.Enforce engineering standards and manage priorities within the team.Ensure technical consistency and execution across mission-critical infrastructure.Review and standardize engineering documentation, including single-lines, network diagrams, and sequences of operation.Manage controls scope on hyperscale data center builds or large mission-critical facilities.Interpret and work with owner-specific standards from major technology companies.Essential SkillsStrong, hands-on experience with Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) within data centers.Experience leading or coordinating multiple engineers across controls projects.Experience in BMS, SCADA, and/or PLC systems in mission-critical environments.Experience with Modbus/TCP and industrial networking.Knowledge of generators and redundancy strategies.Experience in data centers or mission-critical environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ignition, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and power quality analysis.Hands-on experience with commissioning processes including FAT, SAT, IST, and integrated systems testing.Experience reviewing and standardizing engineering documentation.Ability to manage and coordinate multiple engineers across disciplines (BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLC).Work EnvironmentThe role involves working remotely, with occasional travel to site as needed, requiring overnight stays. All travel expenses are covered.
