Electrician I - Southfield, Michigan Contract position through October 25, 2026, may go longer but no guarantee Day Shift - pay rate: up to $30.75 per hour (based on proven work history) Required Duties of the Electrician I: Individual is experienced performing the Electrician activities listed below on their own with little to no guidance or assistance from Skilled Trades Leader in a machine tool manufacturing environment. Electrician activities include:Wire machinery from drawings and bill of materialsWire panelsInstall communication blocksWire EthernetWire auxiliary powerWire robotsWire safety circuitsWire 480VTie in Tools/Final dress of tools to controlsInstall temporary powerBend and install conduitPrepare tool with I/O block, Device Net and duct workVerify tags, tag units, and cordsRun cords and dress tool per customer requirementsAbility to drill, tap, and ream holesUse of hand saw, drill press, and grinders Required Tools of the Electrician I:VOM (Multi-meter), Straight Blade Screwdriver (Small & Med.), #1 and #2 Phillips Screwdriver, Channel Locks (2 pair), Side Cutters - Flush Cutters, 1/0 Cable Cutters, Wire Strippers, Stakon Crimpers (Wire size #10-#14), Cable Strippers, Razor Knife, Small Ball Peen or Brass Hammer, Center Punch, Tape Measure (Metric and Standard), Combination Square, Allen Wrenches (Metric and Standard), Socket Wrench Set (Metric and Standard), Combination Wrench Set (1/4 inch to 3/4 inch and 7mm to 16mm), Crescent Wrench (6 inch to 10 inch), Torpedo Level with Magnet base, Files (small and medium), Tap Handle, Air Nozzle, Air Drill, Air Die Grinder, Air 90 Deg.
