Mathnasium instructors are motivated, responsible, passionate math experts who help students build number sense, boost confidence, and gain a deep understanding of math. Job responsibilities include creating a positive, engaging, and fun learning center environment, learning and implementing the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods, and participating in ongoing training.\nWhy should you become a Mathnasium instructor?\nPay starting at $11.00-$15.00/hour\nConsistent, flexible schedule: 8-15 hours/week on average\nTutor students in math at all grade levels 1-12\nAll work is in center - no lessons to plan or homework to assign\nDeepen your understanding through extensive training in the Mathnasium Method\nJob Requirements\nYou must be at least 16 years old\nYou must plan to work with us for at least 9 months\nExperience tutoring or working with children in grades 1-12 preferred\nMath proficiency through Algebra 2 required, Pre-Calculus/Calculus preferred\nApplication Process\nStart by completing our short, mobile-friendly online application. You may either attach your resume or type a summary of your education and work experience.\nPart of the application will be taking an in person employment test, which covers basic math through Algebra 2 and Geometry. The test takes up to 2 hours to complete. No calculator is allowed. If your application is moved forward, the center director will reach out to you to schedule the test.\nIf you meet the benchmark score of 85% on our employment test, you will be invited to an interview with our Center Director.
