This position will be located in our Jurupa Valley, CA location.\nFunction:\nThe Machine operator is responsible for all aspects of Operating different types of Machines, Chop saw, Band Saw, bending board, Coupling, Reducing & Belling machine.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nOperate Machinery to assist in the production process\nProduce material at a productive rate.\nPerforms general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.\nRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.\nGeneral facility maintenance.\nPhysical checks of Production & Quality Control.\nSafety Awareness of machinery and workplace.\nMaintained work area organize and clean.\nOther duties as assigned by manager.\nRequirements:\nBe able to identify pipe per size and type\nKnowledgeable on how to use a measuring tape and other tools\nBasic math skills and reasoning skills\nGeneral understating of a warehouse environment\nWilling to learn new task Qualifications\nHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent\nExperience is a plus\nAbility to read, comprehend and write simple instructions\nAbility to move/lift 50 pounds unassisted\nAbility to withstand temperature of a typical warehouse environment\nAbility and desire to learn warehouse and company operations\nBenefits:\nAt Walters, we believe that our benefits should make a difference—to you, your job, and the life you lead outside of work.
