The ideal candidate will have expertise in identity and access management, cloud-based authentication services, and secure application development.\nRequired Education, Experience, and Skills:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with five (5) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment OR No Bachelor's Degree with seven (7) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment\nProficiency in one or more languages: JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, React, Angular), Java / Spring Boot, Python, JSON\nProject experience developing and integrating user authentication workflow with web-based applications\nUse of Active Directory with connection to Federated sources and single sign on (SSO)\nKnowledge and implementation of MFA solutions, specifically AWS Cognito, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and/or Login.gov\nExperience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control\nKnowledge and management of AWS GovCloud services, specifically Cognito, Lambda, S3, EC2, and API Gateway\nSoftware delivery using the Agile Scrum or Kanban methodology via Jira\nExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written) plus Active listening skills\nAbility to discuss technical issues with non-technical government officials\nAbility to problem-solve and develop solutions to complex business need\nPreferred Education, Experience, and Skills:\nExperience building and integrating RESTful APIs\nExperience implementing password policies and account recovery flows\nKnowledge of secure web practices: HTTPS, CORS, CSRF protection, secure storage of tokens\nFamiliarity with implementing phishing-resistant MFA protocols, including PIV/CAC integration or authentication standards\nAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect)\nOur estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
