Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing Mount Pleasant, TNFull-time $32ph - $36ph + BenefitsSummary A manufacturing company in Mount Pleasant, TN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting capability. This role supports plant uptime, equipment reliability, and safe operations across a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment, including fault finding, I/O checks, and basic program adjustments.Diagnose issues with motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and automation systemsRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logicSupport equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage.Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.Follow all OSHA, LOTO, and plant safety proceduresQualifications3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.Hands-on experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley preferred).Working knowledge of AC/DC circuits, hydraulics, and pneumaticsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentationFamiliarity with CMMS systems and maintenance best practices.Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and respond quickly to downtime events.Willingness to work overtime or off-shift as needed.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate + shift premiums (where applicable)Comprehensive benefits packageStable, growing manufacturing environmentOpportunities for training and skill developmentStrong team culture focused on safety and reliability
