This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and production for job sites. This person will assist the Project Manager with job site management, including pre-construction meetings and daily communication back to other team members.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nCustomer preconstruction meetings to explain the scope of work and schedule details/timetables for the work to be started and completed\nCoordinate delivery of materials\nOrganized plan of daily accounting for materials at job site are accurate and correct quantities are received daily\nProcuring material needs as needed for job site in the event items must be purchased locally\nConduct Project Start meeting with crews and review all daily safety needs with identifiable hazards or conditions for awareness\nDaily reporting to production for job completion percentages, photos, issues\nManage project completion and conduct final walk with customer to close out job\nEnsure that customer is satisfied and file appropriate paperwork for close out\nOccasional safety coursework may be required\nAble to travel 95% of the time to active jobsites, as directed by supervisor\nEnsure crews are informed and aware of daily task\nEnsure crews are properly dressed/branded in company uniform\nCheck dumpster levels and call for swaps 24hours before needed\nTools are secured either in job trailer or in a locked box on the roof nightly\nLadders are secured and tied down during the day and taken down and secured nightly\nEquipment is in serviceable condition: no oil leaks, fueled, operating as intended, cleaned daily, and secured nightly\nSite fencing is secure and stable\nEnsure perishable material is protected from environmental factors\nDeveloping site safety plans\n\nWhat You Bring to the Table\n\nExperience:\n3-5 years of experience in the roofing industry\nUnderstands commercial roof systems\nAble to communicate well\nJobsite management experience a plus\nOSHA 10 certification\nSafety knowledge a plus and supporting coursework valuable\nBilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required\nCompetencies:\nExcellent communication skills\nAble to problem solve\nSelf-motivated requiring minimal oversight\nAble to perform in potential high-pressure or troubleshooting environments\nEager to learn and grow in their career\nWorks well as part of team\nKnowledge and Skills:\nProficiency in MS Office\nJob costing\n\nDisclaimer\n\nThis Job Description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent(s).
