We’re seeking a Project or Senior Project Engineer to join our Northeast Electrical Engineering team and take a leading role in the design and execution of critical facilities and infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast.\nIn this role, you’ll lead projects through the full lifecycle—from planning and design to construction support—while mentoring junior engineers and fostering strong client relationships. Provide technical leadership and ensure quality and efficiency at every stage.\nDesign Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge in transportation design to develop creative, efficient solutions for roadway and infrastructure projects. Prepare design reports, plans, specifications, and bid documents.\nTeam Development: Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing technical knowledge and project management best practices. Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.\nClient Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their goals and expectations to deliver solutions that exceed requirements and build long-term trust.\nSkills, Education & Experience\nBachelor’s of Science or Technology degree in electrical engineering.\nLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York State.\nMinimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering design, with a strong focus on Public and Private facilities infrastructure projects.\nProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.\nExperience with Power Systems Analysis, including Short Circuit, Coordination and Arc Flash analysis.\nProficiency with the National Electric Code.\nExperience with the layout and design of medium and low voltage distribution systems.\nExperience with the layout and design of lighting systems and controls.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders\nCompensation and Benefits:\nEstimated Salary Range: $95,472 - $130,640/year*\nActual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.\nLearn about our comprehensive Benefits\nWHO WE ARE: C&S Companies is a national planning, design, and construction firm with more than 600 employees and growing.
