Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Rep works closely with customers, distributors, outside sales, and internal teams to provide product guidance, ensure timely follow-up, and help drive business growth through exceptional service and sales support. Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver accurate product quotations to customers, distributors, and partners in a timely manner, ensuring all pricing, specifications, and delivery details are correct.
Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and web forms regarding SLIPNOT’s product offerings, applications, and pricing.
Collaborate closely with the outside sales team and engineering/production departments to clarify requirements and ensure customer needs are met.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SLIPNOT’s product lines, technical specifications, and industry applications to provide informed recommendations and support.
Track and follow up on outstanding quotations, proactively communicating with customers to answer questions and move opportunities forward.
Enter and update customer information, quotes, and order details accurately in the CRM and ERP systems.
Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism, escalating complex cases as necessary.
Support the sales team with administrative tasks as needed, including order processing, sample requests, and documentation.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Estimator experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in preparing quotes and handling technical product data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems; experience with quoting software is a plus.
Experience with Salesforce is a huge plus.
Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
