Audits processes and creates work instructions that maximize lean manufacturing practices. Troubleshoots component failures and completes analysis and repair of production systems. Supports product design, development, and testing during integration phases.\r\nThis position will require specialized education and related experience. Work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.\r\nEssential functions\r\n\r\nCreate scripts that will test, update, and image hardware systems in a production capacity utilizing our test automation platform.\r\nResearch, design, test, and evaluate current scripts for future compatibility with new end user device equipment and adapt to customers' needs/requirements.\r\nConfigure network, software, and hardware components to meet internal and client requirements.\r\nProvide on-site and remote production line and Manufacturing Engineering team support\r\nDesign software products from unit to system testing that involved researching requirements, designing test plans, developing automated testing framework, and enhancing automated scripts to provide quality fielded products for the customer.\r\nResearching, developing, managing, and maintaining software testing techniques and practices for LINUX/UNIX and Windows environments to ensure high quality solutions.\r\nSupport design, development and testing of integration phases with engineering and customers as needed.\r\nAbility to support clear work instructions for our production teams and engage lean manufacturing practices in how those instructions are ultimately processed.\r\nAbility to troubleshoot test automation failures with internal engineering, and customers as needed.\r\nInteract regularly with internal clients (Engineering/ Sales Ops/ Management) to determine their requirements and to develop delivery plans and schedules.\r\nExperience with \"white box\" system(s) and Tier 1 suppliers to include Supermicro, Dell, Lenovo and HPE platforms and able to troubleshoot their hardware problems.\r\nSolid interpersonal and communication skills with both phone and email for client hardware support\r\nExcellent written and verbal skills\r\nCommitment to driving the highest Quality within our daily activities and in our output to our customers.\r\nBe a steward of safety … practicing good safety in all your daily activities and lead others to observe and follow our safety standards / requirements.\r\nComplies with all policies and procedures pertaining to the protection of the Company's Information Assets, Security and Systems and that of its clients.\r\nPerform all other duties as assigned by management\r\n\r\nQualifications - Level Specific\r\n\r\n<1 years' experience creating shell scripts and automation within a Linux and MS Windows environment.\r\nBackground and experience with Server and PC device architecture, including networking\r\nAble to learn to create custom executables for deploying software bundles.\r\nAbility to work both independently and with a collaborative team.\r\nLearning the CCI process for design, develop, implement, testing and maintaining complex code bases.\r\nExperience performing and automating integration, component, system, and unit level tests, as well as analyzing/evaluating results.\r\nSupport Preparing test reports and configuration documentation according to customer standards.\r\n\r\nRequirements\r\nQualifications - General\r\n\r\nBachelor Degree in Computer Science /Information Technology or equivalent education and experience.\r\nStrong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems\r\nStrong hardware problem solving and troubleshooting skills.\r\nKnowledge of working with ERP and PLM systems.\r\nSolid knowledge of PC/server architecture and networking\r\nAbility to work well in a high paced, team driven environment\r\nAbility to work independently and be a problem solver.\r\nDetailed oriented\r\nAbility to implement corporate policies when selecting methods, techniques and processes to implement our production processes\r\nAbility to work as business needs require which may include extended days, and weekends, and occasional travel for business meetings or training.\r\n\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\n\r\nRegularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms while taking and hearing\r\nFrequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance of others\r\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus\r\n\r\nSupervisory responsibilities\r\nNone\r\nWork environment\r\nCCI On Site and remote (within CCI protected Development Environment)\r\nTravel required\r\nInfrequent travel may be required (1-2 times per year)\r\nWork authorization/security clearance requirements\r\nMust be authorized to work in the US\r\nComments\r\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
