If you want to join an industry-leading company that focuses on your professional growth and development, we'd love to hear from you!\n\nThe tooling engineer will be responsible for designing new projects as well as overseeing audits, managing buildings pertaining to quality, and implementing continuous improvement projects.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign foundry tooling for new launches and continuous improvement projects\nDesign gages and fixtures for core room, foundry, finishing and machining\nOversee sampling and testing of new and reworked tooling\nAudit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with IATF 2015:16949. When applicable, change processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness\nManage tooling builds at outside pattern shops and machine shops\nChampion continuous improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce scrap\nMaintain conformance with company policies, work rules and regulations, coaching employees' and/or initiating disciplinary actions, as required.\nMaintain awareness of improved operational methods, production processes, or equipment which improve quality and efficiency and reduce costs.\nExercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.\nExceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.\nPerform customer service work as required, including travel to customer facilities.\nExtend treatment to all other employees of the company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.\nExhibit superior safety practices every day evidenced by outstanding housekeeping at all times.
