Scooter Your Way is an early‑stage micromobility startup building a safer, community‑focused electric scooter platform. We are pre‑launch and raising the capital required to launch operations, secure strategic city and operator partnerships, and scale into new markets. This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor and lead the capital and partnership strategy that makes launch possible.Role Summary We’re hiring a hands‑on Head of Investor Relations / Director of Capital Raising to own fundraising and partnership development end to end. You will design and execute the pre‑launch capital plan, build a prioritized investor pipeline, secure meetings and term sheets, and lead partnership outreach to accelerate market entry. This role reports directly to the Founder & CEO and offers board exposure and direct influence on launch timing and strategy.Compensation Structure (Read Carefully) This role begins as sweat equity, reflecting the early‑stage nature of the company and the critical impact of this position.Once we secure our first capital raise, the role transitions into a monthly cash payout aligned with the operating budget, continuing until the company reaches greater revenue efficiency and profitability.We expect profitability within 24–36 months, at which point compensation will expand alongside company performance.This structure is designed for candidates who want meaningful ownership, long‑term upside, and the opportunity to help architect a category‑defining mobility company from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesPre‑Launch Fundraising: Build and execute a 6–18 month capital plan to secure pre‑seed/seed funding required to launch.Investor Pipeline: Source, qualify, and prioritize institutional investors, family offices, strategic corporate partners, and angel syndicates.Outreach and Meetings: Lead targeted outreach, secure investor meetings, and manage follow‑up to advance prospects to term sheets.Materials and Messaging: Create and maintain investor deck, financial model, one‑pagers, CIM, and data room content that clearly articulate launch plan, unit economics, and go‑to‑market milestones.Diligence and Execution: Run diligence, manage the data room, coordinate legal and finance, negotiate term sheets, and drive to signed commitments.Partnership Development: Identify and engage potential city partners, fleet operators, and strategic corporate partners to secure launch agreements and pilot opportunities.Launch Readiness: Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Product, and Finance to ensure investor and partner commitments align with launch milestones and cash runway.Ongoing IR: Build an investor relations cadence including investor updates, board materials, and launch briefings.QualificationsExperience: 6+ years in investor relations, capital raising, investment banking, VC/PE, or corporate development; 3+ years leading fundraising for early or growth‑stage companies preferred.Track Record: Proven success sourcing and closing pre‑seed to seed institutional capital and strategic partnerships.Skills: Strong financial modeling and valuation skills; excellent written and verbal communication; polished presentation ability.Network: Established relationships with investors and strategic partners relevant to mobility, transportation, or consumer hardware and services.Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and effective at managing multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.Compensation and PerksEquity: Meaningful early‑stage equity aligned with contribution and experience.Post‑Raise Cash Compensation: Monthly payout begins once capital is secured and continues through the early revenue‑building phase.Benefits: Health, dental, vision, flexible PTO, remote/hybrid options, and professional development support (activated post‑raise).Impact: High‑visibility role with direct influence on company trajectory and launch outcomes.How to Apply Please read the full posting before applying.
