This role delivers value through optimized procurement strategies, strong supplier management, effective contract administration, and close collaboration with operations, accounting, project controls, and key suppliers.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nStreamline procurement processes through proactive engagement and clear communication with stakeholders\nLead, mentor and develop procurement team members\nIdentify stakeholder purchasing needs, cost-savings, and efficiency opportunities\nDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals\nResolve issues with innovative, value-driven solutions\nDrive and ensure compliance with procedures, processes, and policies\nOversee the supplier selection process, conduct supplier evaluations and performance analysis\nImprove system and software efficiency through analysis, testing, research, and review\nPartner with accounts payable to monitor supplier accounts and ensure timely, accurate payments\nProduce and present reports on procurement metrics and related activities\nStay informed on industry trends, market conditions and best practices.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks and projects.\n\nEducation and Experience\n\n10+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.\n5+ years of progressive procurement experience, including leadership responsibility.\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is a plus.\nAny relevant certifications are a plus.\n\nRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities\n\nExcellent communication skills, verbal and written\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.\nStrong knowledge of sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.\nDemonstrated track record of achieving cost savings and process improvements.\nProficiency in ERP systems and procurement software; familiarity with data analysis tools a plus.\nExcellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills\nAdept to work independently, manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail with commitment to quality\nAbility to plan, delegate and evaluate progress towards goals while meeting deadlines\nProficient in procurement and accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite\nAbility to compile and analyze data to generate reports\nKnowledge of supply chain management principles, applicable regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices\nAbility to work cooperatively and effectively with various departments and levels of personnel.\n\nWork Environment\n\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
