As a Hydro-Excavation Operator/Driver, you will be responsible for operating hydro-vacuum trucks to perform non-destructive excavation, exposing underground utilities and pipelines safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating excavation equipment, a strong safety record, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nOperate hydro-excavation equipment to perform precise and non-destructive excavation using high-pressure water and vacuum systems.\nSafely and efficiently expose underground utilities and pipelines without causing damage.\nConduct thorough site assessments to determine the best excavation approach.\nPerform routine maintenance and inspections on hydro-excavation equipment.\nAdhere strictly to safety protocols and site-specific guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.\nMaintain detailed records of daily work, including site conditions, materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.\nCommunicate effectively with clients and team members, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 1 year driving experience with CDL required\nMust have Class B Commercial Driver's license with Tanker endorsements required\nMust possess a TWIC or be able to obtain one. Basic Plus is preferred\nAble to travel and work extended hours as needed\nKnowledge of DOT regulations\nMust have a clean Motor Vehicle Record within the last three years\nMust be able to pass DOT physical, drug screen and back ground check\nApplicant shall agree to initial Drug/Alcohol testing and random testing thereafter\nStrong desire to learn and grow in a fast paced environment\nStrong customer service skills\nReliable transportation\nMust be able to communicate effectively\nSafety mindedness is essential.\nClean MVR (2 or less traffic violations in current 3 year period).\nTravel out of town and out of state to work will be required at times.\nMust be on-call and available to work at all times. (Due to client schedule, our operators may not work every day but must be on-call for irregular hours).\nUnderground utility experience a plus\n\nStreamTech maintains a strict drug and alcohol-free workplace policy. In addition to undergoing employment verification and background check, candidates must comply with pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
