{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"0951a2cec2a60f9ecc42dcf5","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0951a2cec2a60f9ecc42dcf5","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0951a2cec2a60f9ecc42dcf5","title":"Quality Engineer","description":"Our client, a Business Manufacturing and Supply company, is looking for a Quality Engineer for their Glendale, AZ location.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nEncompasses the application of scientific and technological principles concerned with the integrity of manufactured products and processes from an engineering standpoint, esp. design specifications, testing procedures, and minimum quality standards.\nDevelops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.\nCollaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.\nDevises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.\nDesigns and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.\nAudits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.\nEnsures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.\nContacts are primarily internal and may be outside of the immediate work group or organization. Rather infrequent external contacts.\nAreas of specialization include:\nDesign, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.\nMay be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.\nMay also be responsible for the unit's Performance Excellence (Six-Sigma) project portfolio, assuring the effective use of different improvement methodologies (DMAIC, Lean, DESGN, etc) toward the achievement of division or plant strategic goals.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering\n3+ Years in MFG quality or process Engineering.\nExperience in DMAIC, 8D and 5-Why Methodologies.\nRequires thorough understanding and application of standard engineering or scientific theories, concepts, principles, and techniques.\nRequires the ability to develop and resolve solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nKeab/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification\nPFMEA, Control Plans, SPC,.
