This position requires hands-on construction management experience in life science or healthcare environments and strong communication skills to coordinate contractors, design teams and regulatory authorities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport Project Managers in planning and executing healthcare and life science projects regulated by OSHPD and HCIA, including preparing and maintaining project schedules and budgets.\nCoordinate submittals, RFIs, change orders and construction documentation using project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Prolog).\nPrepare and review OSHPD and HCIA documentation, ensure regulatory compliance and facilitate approvals and inspections.\nAssist with site coordination, daily construction supervision, and contractor oversight to ensure quality, safety and adherence to contract documents.\nCollaborate with design teams, MEP engineers and specialty vendors on life science lab fit-outs, ensuring installation meets program and regulatory requirements.\nTrack project costs, review pay applications, assist with forecasting and maintain accurate project financial records.\nFacilitate meetings, prepare progress reports and communicate schedule, budget and risk updates to internal teams and clients.\nSupport QA/QC, safety compliance and closeout activities including punch lists, as-built documentation and turnover packages.\nIdentify potential project risks and assist with developing mitigation strategies and corrective actions.\nQualifications\nBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 2+ years experience in construction project delivery, with demonstrable experience as an Assistant Project Manager on healthcare or life science projects.\nDirect experience and working knowledge of OSHPD processes and documentation requirements and HCIA-related compliance and approvals.\nExperience on life science projects (labs, vivariums, pharmaceutical fit-outs) with understanding of specialized MEP systems and laboratory standards.\nProficiency with project management tools (Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera or equivalent), BIM coordination workflows and common office software.\nStrong skills in schedule and budget monitoring, change management, submittal/RFI administration and contract document interpretation.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to engage clients, contractors and regulatory agencies effectively.\nValid OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training and a valid drivers license.\nNice to have: experience on Public Works projects and prior roles as Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer; professional licensure (PE) or CCM is a plus.\nBenefits\nMedical\nDental\nVision\nCompany-paid premiums\n401k with 5% matching\nLife insurance\nShort- and long-term disability\n8 Paid holidays\nPaid vacation + sick time\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
