Learn more about the expertise of our Facilities team – where design meets purpose.\n\nUtilizing a strategic mindset, the Engineering Manager in our Facilities market sector focuses on operations and business development with a strategic mindset. This role steps confidently into client-facing conversations while successfully balancing a variety of projects. As a leader in the community, this role contributes to the growth of the organization by identifying, pursuing, and supporting new business and project opportunities.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nDevelop, build, and manage relationships with strategic partners and customers, both public and private, to build a pipeline of projects.\nLead engineering design and project management for Facilities projects, including interacting directly with clients to ensure successful project delivery\nIdentify pursuits and position market sector to secure new business in existing and new markets\nWork with other internal market sectors to develop joint pursuits and encourage cross selling to existing clients\nMentor and develop team members in both technical skills and professional growth\nAssist with proposals, presentations, and participation in professional organizations and tradeshows\nAbility to travel nationwide as needed.\nOther duties as assigned/commensurate with a senior engineer role\n\nQualifications\n\nOur ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with a team and diving into new challenges, and will have the following qualifications:\n\nBachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or structural Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution\nProfessional Engineering license in area of expertise\n5+ years of progressively responsible work experience\nExceptional skills in team leadership, coordination, and support\nAbility to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externally\nMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.\n\nAdditional Preferred Experience/Skills:\n\nFive years of demonstrated experience managing multiple clients and projects while overseeing a team, or teams, of people.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.
