Job TitleBe the First to ApplyJob DescriptionThis position supports the Boston, MA territory and requires regular travel including overnight stays, to client locations to install Edward Jones branch offices. You will drive a company-provided vehicle to complete on-site service calls throughout the local territory. Although the role is tied to the firm's headquarters in Maryland Heights, MO, you will not be required to travel there, except for one week of technical training shortly after your start date. This position is listed as Hybrid, but day-to-day work is primarily in the field within your designated territory (Boston, MA).Essential Functions and Primary DutiesRegular travel, including overnight stays, to client locations to install Edward Jones branch officesResponsibilities include set-up of computers, printers, cabling, telephony systems, and other equipmentLead and manage on-site installation activities, coordinating Field Service Technicians and overseeing contractors as neededAccurately track work time, update task status in the online system, and document ticket resolutionsFollow escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution of issuesComply with Asset Management protocols by documenting equipment movements, properly packaging/shipping returns, and maintaining shipping logsProvide technical support with minimal disruption to client operationsTrain clients on the use of new hardware and technologiesMaintain inventory of tools, parts, and vehicle stock to ensure readiness for client visitsTroubleshoot, repair, and upgrade telephony, computing, network, print, and AV hardware as business needs evolveInstall, maintain, and repair structured cabling in commercial settings, including cable management at end-user and network locationsCoordinate ETAs that align with client needs for maintenance, project, and IMAC activitiesMonitor and manage ticket queues, assuming ownership of tickets as neededLegally operate and maintain a company vehicle in compliance with company policies, including scheduling regular maintenanceDeliver excellent customer service at all timesPerform related project work as assignedPreferred QualificationsWillingness to travel regularly to client locations, including air travel and long-distance drivingSkilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading a wide range of electronic voice, data, and AV hardware, including cabling and terminationsAbility to work independently to complete maintenance, projects, and IMAC calls efficientlyProvide coverage for other service areas when requiredMaintain high speed internet accessMaintain residence in assigned territoryCarry a company issued cell phone and respond when called upon3 or more years of IT and/or field service experience OR one year as a Field Service Technician with CBIZ Network SolutionsMinimum QualificationsAssociates degree from accredited college or technical schoolAble to use all related computer hardware and softwareAble to use job-related hand held toolsAble to lift and/or move up to 100+ pounds of equipmentMust have good communications skillsAbout UsCBIZ, Inc.
