We are looking for aCabinet Assembler to support our JSI team in Arlington, Texas. Position Overview: The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for assembling an entire product or component of a product. This role will perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. Essential Job Functions:Fit prefabricated wooden parts together to form complete unitsTrim and smooth parts to fit using hand or power toolsInsert screws or dowels in predrilled holesInstall hardwareTrim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit using hand or power toolsApply adhesive, bonding agent, sealant, or paint to completed unitClean foreign matter from the unit using cleaning solutionRead blueprints or engineer specificationsMaintain cleanliness and all safety standards in assigned areaSupport other departments as necessaryMinimum Qualifications:Good time management and organizational skillsGood verbal and written communicationBasic math skillsEducation and/or Experience:High School Diploma or G.E.D.Minimum of one (1) year of related experienceBenefits:401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offEEOC LSI is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
